Independence Day is a science fiction movie about the threat from outer space. It is brilliantly told with a lot of cool effects. Giant UFOs hang over major citys around the world. But they don't do anything. They just hang there. But then they open up and destroy the cities. The US goverment launch an attack against the aliens. And that's just the start.
